Winter is here in all of its glory, the promenade is quiet, the town is just a whisper of it’s summer relative. A lot of hoteliers whisk off to warmer climates at this time of year. It’s the perfect time for hoteliers to start renovations and refurbishments after the long slog of summer. The Balmoral Hotel is one of the establishments busy at work sprucing up some of their rooms ready for Easter. Guests can expect a modern fresh approach to some rooms with tasteful decor. A spokesperson for the hotel said ‘We’re very excited to start these small projects, it’s something we’ve had in the pipeline all year and we’ve been waiting for this quiet time to start.’ More information as it comes..
Blackpool is alive with families coming to see the world famous illuminations, summer is coming to an end and the hats and scarves will be making an appearance soon. The Illuminations come to a close on the 9th November and for the first time the Balmoral Hotel will be kick starting themed weekends. There is a fabulous line up of themed breaks this November at the Balmoral- from an evening with Robbie Williams on the 13th December to a night of soul and motown with soul sensation Mark Yates on the 29th November. A big name makes an appearance to the hotel also with Vince Hughes from Stars In Their Eyes performing Rock & Roll smash hits on the 5th of December, these breaks are all fantastically priced at just £99 per person including Dinner bed & breakfast. ‘We’re trying something brand new for 2014 here at the hotel, fantastic themed breaks at an affordable price. We’re aware of the economy at the moment and with Christmas just around the corner at that time we wanted to give people the opportunity to get away for the weekend at very little cost and provide fun filled evenings’ said James Alexander- manager at the Balmoral. If you would like more information on these breaks or would like to book call 01253 628 624.
